....anyone who knows anything. Right? And he's a
fundamentally malevolent character who is in the advanced stages of dementia.
So it will be an impulsive, poorly thoughtout, confused, vicious, sort of um angry, retribution oriented décision.....

He
and Macron were on the steps of some building. I'm not sure what it
was. And he was doing the grabby thing with her again where he was
grabbing her.Uh,
and then she finally broke free. You could see she was struggling to
break free. Um, and yeah, here's here's one of the places where you see
him grabbing her
.
uh this he did this more than once but he won't let go um which is
obviously you know he he doesn't sort of understand the social context
although
here I would say it's not only just his dementia but he has always made a sport of sleeping with his friends wives he's a really a lech that way it's part of his malevolence um but uh [laughter] so so I think he actually is being like the leerous kind of dirty old man in the in the uh you know in the nursing home grabbing the nurses by the behind you know kind So, this is his sort of disinhibited um you know, he used to be a lot slicker about it, [laughter] but this is his disinhibited attempt to make a move on Mrs. Mcron, but there's....
...another
scene where they're on the stairs and he begins to wander down the
steps away and they kind of say, "No, no, no, no. We're going in." And
they suggest this is not a one off. This is a clinical symptom of dementia that we see getting worse and worse and worse everytime I talk to you, Mark. I promise you one thing, he will be worse than the last time I talked to you.
He is enabled by all of these people who sadly indulge his worst instincts.
As you say, even this Iran war he began against the I guess perceived resistance or u skepticism of those around him.
There
was only Hegath who of course driven by blood lust. Yeah. And uh and
you know they were sort of like well sir if you you know if you think
it Mr. President we're behind you. and you know and he he plays to the rahrah in the room sadly.
Yeah.
He went with his gut. He said that's how he's and so that's what you
really want is a a really malevolent person in the advanced stages of
dementia to be making life and death decisions on their based on on their gut.
You
know, let me ask you something about you've said this a couple of
times, the advanced stages of dementia. And this is really where your
expertise uh can help guide us through. He seems to be talking to the press, uh, managing cabinet meetings, and he'll fall asleep for 20
minutes or whatever. But, uh, he seems to be engaged in certain aspects of being president

that would suggest that he is all there or when I say all there, I mean, you know, more or less together. When you
When you say advanced stages of dementia, uh um I I do see I see that played out in hislong screeds that he will lay out overnight and or or the 100 various posts that he'll uh he'll he'll kick out. But what's throwing me off, I guess, doctor, is the way in which he seems also engaged with the press, able to answer questions, etc. Some of what he says is kind of absurd. Is that what we're talking about or or is that just is he's a dim guy. He's a vacuous man, you know?
Well,
actually, he's he he didn't start out as a stupid man. Uh he started
out as a jerk, but he didn't start out as a stupid. If you look at
interviews he did in the 1980s, he still had the same horrible racist, you know, views, but he spoke in articulate paragraphs. Now, he can barely finish a sentence, a thought, or even a word. And I really don't think he is very capable of answering these questions because he half the time he wanders off to talking about his, you know, monuments, right? And just basically this is perserveration. This is what people with with dementia do. They just want to talk about what they want to talk about and they just keep talking about the same thing over and over again whether it's relevant or not. Uh and he's preoccupied with the gold curtains......
